jesse emmanuel ortiz - composer
in his early twenties, jesse’s passion for music led him to pursue a career as a salsa songwriter and artist. jesse went on to receive private lessons with his mentor, jose luis serrano. jesse studied music in essex county college and montclair state university where he graduated with a linguistics major and a music minor.
jesse has worked with well known latin artists and musicians such as isidro infante, joe king, miosotis, jayro, bobby allende, luis quintero, carlito henriquez, pablo santaella, joseph rodriguez, tony mona nieves, reynaldo george, and herman olivera. his latin influence permeates in his music, making his style distinct and unique.
