thor wixom got his start in extreme action sports filmmaking. He has produced, directed, shot, edited, and scored 15 originals productions, and was nominated 3 times for “best mountain bike film.” thor made the transition to indie features with “desert of eden,” which won the audience choice bronze medal at the park city film music festival in 2007.
most recently, thor has made a name for himself as a specialist for the red camera. he owns red 137 (“ansel”), and has worked as a red tech and camera operator on two recent features: national lampoon’s “the legend of awesomest maximus,” and stewart raffill’s “standing ovation.”
